Greg James, CFCC, graduated from the University of North Florida in 1994 with his Bachelors in Business Administration. He and his family moved to Wakulla County in January 1995 and he has worked for the Wakulla County Clerk’s Office since June 2000. Besides 24 years of public service, Greg serves as a board member of
numerous local non-profit organizations and groups.
Greg James was elected to the Office of the Clerk of Court & Comptroller in August 2020 and is a duly elected Constitutional Officer as mandated by Article V, Section 16 of the Constitution of the State of Florida. The electorate of Wakulla County elects the Clerk to a four-year term. In 2022, after over 240 hours of additional training, Greg earned the title “Certified Clerk and Comptroller” (CFCC).
