Fraud Awareness Week

The Wakulla County Clerk of court & Comptroller's Office offers Property Alert Services, designed to alert residents to potential instances of property fraud. This service allows those who sign up to be notified when a deed, mortgage, or other official record is recorded in their name in our county's Official Records.
Beware of potential fraud during times of crisis! Unfortunately, fraudulent activity is common after any major disaster. Exercise caution when opening emails and be wary of social media pleas, texts, or door-to-door solicitations relating to these types of events.
