Florida has a very broad public records law. Most written communications to or from governmental officials are public records available to the public and media upon request. Your e-mail and fax communications may therefore be subject to public disclosure. Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to the Clerk’s Office. Instead contact our office by phone or in writing.

Hours of Operation
The Clerk’s Office is open for business Monday – Friday except for holidays.
Please see the Clerk’s Holiday Schedule for the days the Clerk’s Office will be closed.
The Courts Department is open 8 A.M. – 4 P.M. Monday – Friday. Due to a reduction in funding the Courts & Traffic Division closes at 4:00pm daily. Anyone with a deadline for filing or paying who comes to the Wakulla County Courthouse between 4-5pm will not be considered late if they file/pay the next day before closing (at 4PM).
The Official Records Department is open 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday – Friday. Due to time constraints, passport applications will not be accepted or processed after 4 P.M.
The Finance Department is open 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday – Friday.

Free courthouse parking is available at the following locations:

- West and south of the Tax Collector’s Office at 202 Ochlockonee St., Crawfordville, Fl. 32327
- East of the Old Jail & Historical Society at 24 High Drive, Crawfordville, Fl. 32327
